Session 2-1: Expanding Information Literacy in the AIGC Era: Incorporating Critical Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (AIGC时代融入批判性思维及人工智能的信息素养教育)

Speaker: Zhang Xuemei, Associate Research Librarian, Changsha University of Science and Technology Library, Member of the Chinese Library Society, and Educator in Information Literacy and Academic Search Skills. She also serves as a lecturer for the Hunan Province University Digital Library Mobile Lecture Team and is an Information Literacy Training Teacher and Provincial Competition Instructor for the Academic Search Contest of the Seven Southern Provinces of China. Her professional experience includes participating in research projects such as the Public Library Law of China, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Library Society of China. She was also an editorial board member of the Records of the Academic Library Development in Hunan Province. Additionally, she has led and participated in multiple scientific research projects.

主讲人简介: 张雪梅,长沙理工大学图书馆副研究馆员,中国图书馆学会会员,教育部科技查新员,湖南省高校数字图书馆巡回讲师团讲师,信息素养培训教师,中南七省学术搜索大赛省赛指导老师。曾参与文化部、中国图书馆学会《公共图书馆法》项目研究工作;《湖南省高校图书馆事业志》编委;主持、参与多个科研项目。

Abstract: The speaker explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and critical thinking in information literacy education through course design and case studies. It highlights the significance of this fusion for enhancing students’ information literacy and cultivating innovative talents in the AIGC era. The session provides valuable insights for library information literacy education innovation.

本次研讨会通过阐述信息素养课程设计以及具体案例分析,展示了人工智能技术、批判性思维在信息素养教育中的实际应用效果,强调了两者融合对于提升学生信息素养、培养未来创新型人才的重要性,为图书馆信息素养教育创新提供了支持。 

Session 2-2: Information Literacy for Faculty and Students Integrating AI: Format + Content + Methodology (面向师生融合AI的信息素养教育: 形式+内容+方法) 

Speaker: Xie Yanan, Associate Research Librarian, Northeast Normal University Library. She is a member of the Library Society of Jilin Province User Education Committee, a member of the Association for Moral Education, and the European Information Literacy Association. She is responsible for information literacy instruction and won the 2013 Emerald Library Fund Award. She co-authored two textbooks, and was awarded the 2013 National Excellent Course for International Students and Third prize winner of the 2019 CHED National Blended Teaching Design Competition. Her main research areas include information literacy, critical thinking, metacognition, and active teaching methods.

主讲人简介: 谢亚南,东北师范大学图书馆副研究馆员,吉林省图书馆学会用户教育委员会委员。美国道德学会会员、欧洲信息素养协会会员。高等教育出版社培训课教师、“学术志”金牌特约教师、北京大学医学部医大时代教育培训教师。有10余年信息素养相关课程教学经验,长期从事人文社科类研究人员的课题咨询工作。负责文献检索、文献阅读等相关课程。2013年Emerald图情基金奖Winner。参编教材2本,获得2013年国家留学生精品课。2019年CHED全国混合式教学设计大赛三等奖。

Abstract: The speaker begins with case studies showcasing AI-related activities tailored for faculty and students at Northeast Normal University Library. The library employs various methods, including social media promotion, thematic training, credit courses, embedded services for research groups, and one-on-one consultations, to demonstrate AI applications in academic research, teaching, and office work. The report also introduces AI tools suitable for teaching and research and discusses challenges and confusion in AI information literacy education. Northeast Normal University Library aims to bridge traditional academic wisdom with cutting-edge technology, promoting innovation in teaching research paradigms and fostering a new era of intelligent education and academic research.

本报告开头以案例研究的形式,生动展示了东北师范大学图书馆为师生群体量身定制的AI相关活动。东北师范大学图书馆通过社交媒体推广、专题培训、学分课程、课题组嵌入式服务以及一对一咨询等多种方式,在线上线下全方位地向师生们展示了AI在学术研究、教学和办公三大场景中的应用。接下来,报告详细介绍了适用于教学与研究的AI工具。报告的尾声,我们探讨了AI信息素养教育面临的挑战与困惑。东北师范大学图书馆致力于搭建一座桥梁,连接传统学术智慧与前沿技术力量,推动教学研究范式的创新变革,共同开创智能时代教育及学术研究的新局面。
